Some tools just make a targeted change when you run them, like unforbid, which scans through all your items and removes the forbidden flag from each of them. WebMany have reported the same glitch. It seems merchants also tend to get stuck on the map never leaving but hanging around near the edge (check the unit list). Caravan never returns to mountainhome and there is no word from your fortress. They will not send another caravan, and migrants won't arrive.

WebThere are some issues with merchants getting stuck in various ways, but it doesn't happen to everyone all the time. WebResult: Merchant heads to Depot #1, all 3 wagons head to Depot #2, and one of them stops one square short of arrival into the depot. Merchants are "unloading" the whole season and leave before letting me trade. Year 3. (human) -- No merchant, two wagons, one depot op/acc as normal. Result: Both wagons successfully enter depot. Year 2. (human)
WebThe second merchants get into combat the trade is over. You could try making a fortified building on the surface. Just make sure there's x3 space on the edges for wagons.
