I can not predict results but so far this undercoat seems to be the ticket. I read a few articles about water based versus oil based paints and most seem to be a bit outdated, stating that oil paint is more durable than water based.

If you are spraying in hot or cooler conditions, you can also thin this up to 10% with water to aid flow, then follow with 2-3 coats of Dulux Weathershield. If you prefer the slower dry oil based prep coats grab a can of GP Undercoat in Haymes or Wattyl/Pascol or Walpamur Oil PSU.
