WebFeb 27, 2024 · Scotty, Im down the road in San Antonio and I have a 95 Toyota Avalon 185k AT. All fine until recently started making noise while in gear and stopped. Noise only present when in D or R and foot on brake, sounds like engine is struggling. Runs, shifts and drives flawlessly, otherwise. I cant pinpoint the origin of the sound. Any ideas? WebOf course Scotty isn't perfect, nobody is. He makes mistakes and frequently owns up to them. Scotty probably would not agree with my own choices in vehicles over the years and that's OK. Whatever his flaws from what I can see he's extremely good at what he does and has tons of professional experience that he's happy to share with others.
